FAQ & KNOWLEDGE BASE
Everything you need to know about VR Nautics immersive simulations, corporate workshops, and customized hardware solutions.
1. General Questions & Technology
VR Nautics trainings are interactive corporate programs that immerse participants in realistic virtual environments using VR headsets. They combine simulations, gamification, and experiential learning (immersive learning) to cultivate crucial business skills.
VR simulations provide 100% focus and total immersion without ambient distractions or background noise. Virtual reality significantly enhances knowledge retention and employee engagement, providing a safe space to practice real-world decision-making.
No. Our applications feature an intuitive user interface and smooth UX. Before each session starts, we conduct a quick introductory briefing to ensure every participant feels confident and prepared.
For example: if you train 30 employees over a year and reduce classroom training hours by 40% (from 480 to 288 man-hours) due to higher VR retention. With 192 fewer hours spent away from active work and an average human resource profitability of €2.81 per man-hour, that equates to €16,193 in annual gains. Against a sample VR application investment of €40,000, this yields an estimated 40.5% ROI.
For all organized sessions, VR Nautics provides all necessary VR headsets and accessories directly to the training venue. There is no additional rental charge.
They suit team leaders, mid-level managers, senior managers and experienced professionals who want to build people-management skills, as well as new employees during onboarding. Because the learning is experiential, the format is especially useful for participants who feel they have already seen every training.
In the Book of Secrets® programme the VR business case itself takes about 40 minutes. It is followed by an analysis of up to 4 hours, and the programme is usually extended with a further 4 to 6 hours of practising techniques and tools, tailored to the business case and your goals.
VR Nautics is based in Sofia, Bulgaria. In-person sessions take place at your offices or another training venue, and we bring the VR headsets with us. Remote sessions let participants join from anywhere with a headset and an internet connection. Contact us to agree the format and location for your team.
The price depends on the format (a programme run by our team or a corporate licence), the number of groups and participants, the length of the follow-up workshop and any customisation. Tell us about your goals and we will prepare an offer.
2. Corporate Trainings & Book of Secrets®
Book of Secrets® is an original proprietary VR solution by VR Nautics—an interactive simulation (VR Gamebook) structured as an immersive learning module. It immerses leaders and team members in demanding scenarios that require rapid, critical business choices.
The application addresses a broad array of soft skills and leadership capabilities:
- •Effective communication
- •Delivering and receiving constructive feedback
- •Goal setting and delegation
- •Team motivation
- •Change management
- •Securing commitment and project buy-in
- •Leadership
We offer two primary integration models:
- •Facilitated Programs: Our team conducts and coordinates the complete learning process for your workforce.
- •Corporate License: You acquire an enterprise software license to run the VR application internally within your L&D department.
Participants play a 40-minute gamified VR business case with a spy storyline, taking decisions in complex situations and seeing the consequences immediately. A certified facilitator then leads the analysis and links the situations from the VR case to each participant’s own practical cases.
For in-person sessions we recommend groups of up to 8 participants, so everyone stays active and the facilitator can connect the VR situations to each person’s practical cases. The programme also works for individual training, in person or remotely. A corporate licence covers an unlimited number of participants and training groups.
Sessions are led by a facilitator certified to deliver VR trainings and specifically the Book of Secrets® programme.
Yes. Experienced managers often believe they already know it all, which makes classic training hard. In VR they experience the consequences of their own decisions first-hand, recognise what they could change and reach their own insights – exactly where the format is strongest.

It is a virtual branch and interactive digital space where clients can inspect products, receive consultations, and engage with your brand remotely with a profound sense of presence. Each build is customized strictly to client specifications.
Examples include a health and safety training in a simulated workplace where employees face hazard situations and finish with a VR test on spotting hazards and near misses, a gamified onboarding app with virtual visits to a company’s production sites, and a digital retail branch for remote customer experiences.
Yes. A gamified VR onboarding lets new colleagues visit production sites virtually, learn the value chain and brand portfolio, and experience company values through interactive exercises. Onboarding can start right after hiring, without waiting for a group to form or taking people to a classroom.
